About

Ian Stabler is an artist, educator, woodworker and natural builder living in Floyd, Virginia.

Raised outside Denver, Colorado Ian spent his youth exploring the varied and wild landscapes around his home. This early connection with nature, creation and wonder continue to influence his work.

“If I had to speak a vision for my life and work it would be to explore and dismantle to disconnection our culture has created between humans and the rest of the earth, and to create work that invites us back toward the truth of our deep vitality.”
